Women's Soccer Falls to West Chester

WEST CHESTER-- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost to West Chester on Tuesday by a score of 2-1.

In the first half of play, despite the Huskies holding a 6-3 edge in shots on goal, there was no score in the game. In the second half the Golden Rams broke through with a goal in the 55th minute; then made it 2-0 with a goal in the 72nd minute of action.

Bloomsburg tightened the game with the help of an own goal in 78th minute, but were not able to get the tying score.

Goalkeeper Frances Nicoletti (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield) had four saves for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg moves to 6-2 on the year, 4-2 in the PSAC East. The Huskies play at Slippery Rock on Saturday at 2 p.m.
